Ocean cruising yacht for sale

A ready to go 52-feet centre cock pit cutter rigged steel boat, fully equipped for long-distance and blue water sailing.

After about two and a half years at sea we are now on our way back to Sweden via the Caribbean and a possible delivery in the Caribbean (Feb-Apr 2018).
The yacht – SY Nerthus – is built in Elsinore/Helsingör, Denmark, in accordance with drawings by the Danish yacht designer – Arne Borghegen – and was completed in the mid 90’s.

The boat is exceptionally well built and well maintained. Mast, deck and underwater hull were painted in New Zealand in spring 2017.

In 2015 the underwater body was professionally sandblasted and painted with Hempel´s two pot epoxy paint. At the same time the entire hull and deck was painted according to Hempel’s paint system. The steel hull was ultra sound measured in 2007 with no remarks.

Serious speculators may be offered the opportunity to sail Nerthus in the Caribbean Feb-mid May 2018.
